Hawzah News Agency- Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, head of the Iranian negotiating team, said in his fourth audio message to the Iranian people: I must tell the people about the developments of the past few days; the first point is that what caused the recent tensions was that the Americans grossly violated the ceasefire by both imposing a naval blockade on the Iranian nation and violating the agreement that had been reached on the Lebanese ceasefire.
He continued: The US President’s remarks about the memorandum of understanding were contrary to the parts that had been agreed upon. This showed that they are neither seeking a ceasefire nor seeking dialogue; It is natural that we had to give a decisive response to defend the rights of the Iranian people, and by the grace of God, our armed forces performed their duty with authority.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament addressed the people of this country and said: I assure the dear people that from now on we will defend the rights of the Iranian people with power and under the leadership and guidance of the Supreme Leader of our time and divine blessings, we will bring another victory to Iran.
The four fields of military, diplomacy, presence and service to the people are the fabric of a single body.
Ghalibaf continued: The progress of the negotiations, along with the military operations in the Persian Gulf and the missile barrage last night by the Zionist regime, showed that we must have a complete understanding of the geometry of the battlefield.
He explained: If we consider diplomacy to be merely chatter in closed rooms and diplomatic smiles, we will fail from the very beginning, and if we rely solely on military operations and war, we will not be able to fully defend our rights.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated that we have four fields of struggle against Iran's enemies, saying: The field of military struggle, the field of diplomacy, the field of the presence of the people's resistance, and the field of service; the first three fields support the fourth field. These four fields are not only not in four parallel lines, but they are the threads and fibers of a single body that must weave the garment of success and victory of the Iranian nation, like weaving a garment with precise and instantaneous coordination.
He continued: The military field of struggle is the driving engine of power-building, meaning it keeps the enemy from dreaming of attacking, and to the same extent, the field of diplomacy must be able to transform this objective authority into tangible and established legal, political, and economic achievements at the appropriate time, rather than leaving unresolved issues with general words.
We rely on Iran's authority and rationality to seek an engineered and complete victory.
Ghalibaf stated: The key point in this important and fundamental model of struggle is authority and rationality. We do not want to move forward with commitment or sloganeering. We are seeking an engineered and complete victory, relying on Iran's authority and Iranian rationality.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament continued: The Lebanese incident is a good example that shows that the diplomatic field, along with the military field, can repel Israel and the enemies; neither diplomacy prevents military operations nor does military operations prevent diplomacy.
He continued: Once, by threatening to attack and severing negotiations, we prevent Israel's attack on Beirut, and once again, by attacking, we show that we are not afraid of severing negotiations and that we are fully prepared; by the grace of God, the result will be that they will be forced to retreat from our rights and we will establish our rights.
The issue is not just Lebanon, but also achieving the rights of the people and creating stable security for the country.
Qalibaf added: Now imagine if we had not won in the military field or had not advanced in the diplomatic field, or if the military and diplomatic fields had not acted properly in defense of each other and had not supported and coordinated with each other, then our hands would have been tied in supporting Lebanon and confronting the naval blockade.
The head of the Iranian negotiating team said: Our goal is to end the war and establish lasting security, not to normalize relations with the US; we do not trust the other side either. Of course, our method is not to operate emotionally or simply declare the rights of the Iranian nation or condemn the crimes of the enemy.
He continued: The path is clear and the field is clear, and it only requires the will to move between revolutionism and diplomatic action on the basis of rational authority.
Qalibaf emphasized: Regarding the naval blockade, which is a war crime, we will definitely turn the enemy's conspiracy into another defeat for them with a comprehensive plan.
The speaker of the Iranian parliament added: With national unity and diplomacy of authority and military power under the command of the Supreme Leader and Deputy Imam of the Age (a.s.), we will discourage the enemy from surrendering to the Iranian people.
He added: "With the blessing of the pure blood of the martyrs, and with the national insight, wisdom of the leadership, and the efforts of the officials, we will move towards an independent, advanced, and strong Iran, God willing''.
Qalibaf noted: "The Supreme Leader of the Revolution exposed the enemy's plan, which is focused on the resilience of the people and creating errors in the calculation system of the country's officials. He also determined the way to confront the enemy's plan by observing these points: resistance, clarity, maintaining unity and cohesion, mutual trust, and not aligning with the enemy''.
